Iga Swiatek stayed ranked 1st, and the French Open Runner up Karolina Muchova jumped 26 ranks to get into the top 20 in the Women’s Singles Tennis Ranking

Iga Swiatek retained her pole position in the ranking of the Women’s Singles category after winning the French Open final match against Karolina Muchova by a scoreline of 6-2, 5-7, 6-4.

The new ranking is the same for the 2nd ranked player Aryna Sabalenka who had the chance to pass Iga Swiatek to get onto first rank, but she failed to do that as she lost against Karolina Muchova in the semi-final of the French Open.

The runner-up of the French Open, Muchova moved up from 43rd to 16th after giving her all in the tournament and proving her hard work which is why she reached to final.

Elina Svitoline moved from 192 to rank 73, gaining a 119 ranking after the tournament reached the quarter-final of the French Open. She also won the Internationalaux De Strasbourg. Svitoline lost to ranked 2nd player Aryna Sabalenka by 4-6, 4-6 in the quarter-final of the French Open.
