Star Indian Kabaddi players are out from Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023
The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) has recently announced the 14-member Indian Kabaddi players for the 11th Asian Kabaddi Championship, which is going to happen from June 27th, 2023, to June 30th, 2023. Many star players are not in the squad and were replaced by many young talents, which clearly shows that Indian Kabaddi Association is looking toward the future.
Star players who will miss the 11th Asian Kabaddi Championship are:-
1- Pardeep Narwal, who has the highest number of raid points in the Pro Kabaddi League and was one of the main players in the 2018 Asian Masters and Asian Games. In Pro Kabaddi League, he was the most successful raider for the UP Yoddhas but still was not selected for the Asian Kabaddi Championship.
2- Rahul Chaudhari is another star player who is not part of the 2023 Asian Kabaddi Championship after having the worst Pro Kabaddi League season in which he could not showcase his skill because of a lack of opportunities.
3- Bharat Hooda‘s exclusion is one of the surprising exclusions in the squad of the Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023 because he had an amazing last season in Pro Kabaddi League. He scored 279 raid points in just 23 matches.
4- Narender Kandola is one more player who is not included in the team because Pawan Shrawat is fit again to play for the Indian team else. He might be in the squad for the Asian Kabaddi Championship.
5- Ankush is a young talent who showed his skills of defending in his debutant Pro Kabaddi Season 9, in which he became the most successful defender scoring 89 tackle points in just 24 matches.
6- Maninder Singh and Deepak Hooda are the other veteran player who is not in the squad for the Asian Championship. The main reason can be their age or maybe the way they performed in the Pro Kabaddi League.
