Milan Skriniar moved to PSG after Inter Milan lost in the final of the Champions League 2023 against Chelsea F.C.
Milan Skriniar said goodbye to his club Inter Milan to move to Paris Saint-Germain in the next season after being defeated by Manchester City in the Final of the UEFA Champions League by 1-0.
Skriniar was Inter Milan’s most important players throughout the season, as they were able to reach the final of the UCL after 13 years, and the manager of the club was no other than Protugeass masterclass Jose Mourinho who left the club after winning the title as he said he wants to become the first manager to win UEFA Champions League with three different clubs. Milan won that match against Bayern Munich with a scoreline of 0-2 in which Milito scored two goals.
Inter Milan offered him a contract to extend his stay in the team, but he rejected the contract to move to Ligue 1 champions as a free agent in the summer, which was a huge loss for the Milan team as they lost around 70-80 million euros.
Skriniar was not happy with the way he had to say goodbye to the club and was sad about losing the final because he wanted to enjoy his last match in the team with the title.
“It was a sad way to say goodbye, the defeat will disturb us for a long time. We were so close to winning the trophy, we had a great performance and deserved more. We’re proud of what we did during the game. We’ll see what happens in Paris, the important thing is that I stay fit,”
Milan Skriniar told to reports
Lately, Skriniar has been suffering from back issues, which kept him on the bench for a long time, but now he is looking better on the field and is one of the best defenders in football right now who has lots of experience.
