Liverpool signed World Cup winner Mac Allister from Brighton with a five-year contract

Mac Allister is red now after signing the 5 year contract with Liverpool. Brighton needs to find replacement

Mac Allister is a Liverpool player now after signing a five-year contract. Liverpool had an upsetting season, as they ended up being 5th at the table and will play Europa League which is why they wanted to strengthen their mid-field area, which is lacking good players.

They have wanted Mac Allister since January but were not able to sign him, but now they have done it, and it will cost them around a 60 million euros fee, which was his buyout clause that Liverpool give in the next few days. However, Brighton will also play in Europa League and can be the competition’s dark horse after an amazing Premier League run, finishing 6th in the table.

Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp already praised Brighton for playing an amazing, drilled football and admired the performance of Mac Allister, Gross, and Welbeck.

“They play for one gap where they pass the ball through and then whoever – Mac Allister or Gross, or Welbeck or Ferguson – turns and from there they go.”

“Ibou plays now a lot; you can see in the situation, I think he could have won this challenge in the first place, but Mac Allister can get the ball down without a foul, if I am 100 per cent right.”

“All others things, transfer-wise, you will be the first to be informed if something will happen,” “But before then, nothing really to say about it.”

Kloop said after match against Brighton

Mac Allister was calm with all the transfer rumors that were going on as he said that even if he is not able to get any big club, he will still going to enjoy his time with Brighton because they back him well and give him many chances to prove his abilities which given him a chance to be in Argentina National team and becomes the World Champion.

Mac Allister was one of the key players for Brighton’s success in the Premier League 2022/2023 season, which gave them their first chance to play in the Euro League next season. Liverpool still needs one more solid mid-field player who can improve their mid-field area, which they struggled a lot in the 2022/2023 season.

Mac Allister scored 10 goals for Brighton this season and also scored in the Fifa World Cup when they were up against Poland.
