Jose Mourinho is the ‘Enemy of Football’ after verbally abusing Antony Taylor?
The star manager Jose Mourinho is once again in controversy after abusing the UEFA Euro Cup Final’s Referee, Antony Taylor, after the match in the parking lord. In the video, Mourinho can be heard shouting, “F***ing disgrace man, it’s a f***ing disgrace,” and later, in the Budapest airport, Antory Taylor, F.C. Roma fans were abusing’s family.
F.C. Roma lost in the final against Sevilla in penalties by 4-1, who broke all records by winnings the UEFA Cup/Europa League Titles for the 7th time. They never lost in the final of the Europa Cup, which is also one of the records.
It was Jose Mourinho’s first loss in any major European final in his whole career, so he even gave a fan his runner-up medal and abused the referee for the loss. It’s been around 15 years since Volker Roth named Mourinho as ‘Enemy of Football’ due to his verbal abuse and harsh words to referees.
UEFA Board charged Mourinho with Art. 16(2)(h) DR; Improper conduct of a team, Art: 15(4) DR; Insulting/abusive language against a match official (Mr. José Mourinho).
You can’t condone the actions of Jose Mourinho, the Roma players and the Sevilla players. I think their behaviour was absolutely appalling. That’s going around the world and young children are seeing these babies,”
Mark Halsey said in the interview
Mourinho was frustrated with the final loss he got, and in the post-match conference, he said that it was not clear if he would stay with the club because that would be decided after his holiday.
“I can’t say I will be here next season,”
“I will go on holiday on Monday, then we will speak. I told the owners I will tell them if I start talks with another club. As of now no other club called me. It is time for me to talk to the owners. It is time for the owners to talk to me.”
Jose Mourinho said in the post match conference
Roma lost their chance to qualify for the UEFA Champions League spot after being defeated by Sevilla, but the Europa Conference League spot is confirmed, and they will look to qualify for the Europa League for the next season as in the league table, they are on the 6th spot.
