Arsenal vs Barcelona 5-3: the pre-season match was a goal feast
Mikel Arteta‘s side was in firing mode against the F.C. Barcelona team as they scored five goals in the match of Arsenal vs Barcelona’s side, and their last season’s new signing Leandro Trossard came up with an amazing performance after scoring two goals.
Leandro Trossard scored twice in the pre-season match between Arsenal vs Barcelona, ending up with a 5-3 scoreline.
It was surprising not to see Declan Rice, the new superstar of the team, who recently being transferred from West Ham United for about 105 million euros, in the match against the Barcelona team at sofi stadium in the USA. However, without him, the Arsenal club dominated the Barcelona team by winning the match 5-3.
The first goal was scored by Robert Lewandowski on the rebound in the 7th minute of the match against the Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale after an amazing save against Raphinha. Soon after, Arsenal leveled it up with their main man goal Bukayo Saka in the 13th minute of the match as the Barcelona defender, Andreas Christensen, could not clear the ball. Arsenal kept going on with an attacking threat to Barcelona club, and the defenders of the La Liga champion struggled against the high-class attackers.
In the 34th minute, Raphinha scored a goal from the free kick, which was deflected by Martin Odegaard, who was standing as the wall. Just after 10 minutes, Kai Havertz scored his second goal for his new team Arsenal to level the score line to 2-2. Just after the 2nd half started, Trossard put the Arsenal side in the lead by scoring in the 55th minute of the match. Soon Barcelona almost leveled the score as Dembele hit the post in the 75th minute.
Arsenal again went into attacking mode, and Trossard scored his second goal in the 78th minute, which made Arsenal team lead the match by 4-2. Soon Ferran Torres put one goal back in the 88th minute to keep the scoreline to 4-3, but then in the 90th minute, the youngest Vieira scored the 5th goal for Arsenal to end the match by a 5-3 scoreline.
Arsenal bottled their chance to win the Premier League last season when they led the season most of the time, but in the end, let Manchester City take the title in the end. This season Arsenal has already spent more than 200 million euros and is looking to buy one more striker. Barcelona is going to find it very hard to win the La Liga title because the Real Madrid team is quite strong.
