Nigeria women’s football team will be going into their 7th FIFA Women’s world cup, which is already an amazing achievement.

Nigeria has a good chance of reaching the round of 16 because they are in Group B with Australia, Ireland, and Canada. Even though their ranking is above Australia and Canada, they still have quality in the team, which can help them to defeat some top-level teams like them.
In the 1999 world cup, they were able to reach the quarterfinals. The Super Falcons are coached by Randy Waldrum, an American who has previously coached the Trinidad and Tobago women’s team. The team’s captain is Asisat Oshoala, who is considered one of the best female footballers in the world. She has been awarded four times for being African women’s player of the year.
Rasheedat Ajibade is one of the top-class players for the Nigeria team, scoring 4 goals in Africa Women’s Cup Nations in 4 matches. Waldrum is not satisfied with their preparation for the world cup, which will be hard for them even to reach the round of 16.
