Zimbabwe vs United States Match Prediction: Zimbabwe will go up against the United States of America in their next match, which will be played at Harare Sports Club, Harare, on June 26th, 2023.
Zimbabwe had an amazing match against the toughest opponent in the qualifiers of ICC World Cup 2023 as they won by 35 runs against the champion side West Indies to stay at the top of the group to fight in the super six. However, their next group stage match is against the USA, who are already eliminated from the competition, so it is going to be interesting if the Zimbabwe side will give rest to their senior players or want to keep the momentum going on with them.
It was an emotional day for the Zimbabwe side because they had a bad record against the West Indies side in their head-to-head record as they played 48 ODI matches against each other in which West Indies won 36 and they won just 10, but in the last match, it changed to 11 wins for the Zimbabwe side.

The United States lost their last match against the Netherlands by 5 wickets. It was an easy win for the Netherlands side against a weak team like the USA, who did not quite perform very well, but at least they put up some fights in a few of their matches and will be happy to be in the same tournament next time.
USA batting united once against collapsed as they were 6 down on just 88 runs but it was Shayan Jahangir’s innings which kept them bit alive as he scored 71 runs and also Jessy Singh who scored 38 that took the team to total of 211 runs in 50 overs.
Their bowling has been one of the best for them as even though the total was so small, they put up a good fight as they took 4 wickets of Netherlands under 90 runs, but after that, Teja Nidamanuru and Scott Edwards pulled a win for them by scored half centuries.

Burl has been amazing, he has been hungry in the change room, he has shown dedication towards his batting. Great to see him get a 50 today, unlucky the way he was dismissed.
I personally felt we were 20-30 runs short, but we knew we could save them in the field. We have the hunger to get to India, to book that World Cup slot. Our fast bowlers are all good – Blessing, Tendai Chatara, Ngarava all chipped in. The bowlers won us the game today. I don’t think we could win this game with skills alone, what we needed was the fan support and they turned up today. We’ll now do a lap of honor for these fans.

1- Sean Williams has been phenomenal in both ICC World Cup Qualifiers matches, scoring 193 runs in those 2 matches. In the last match, he started off well but got out on just 23, but he will be crucial against the United States side because the bowling lineup is not as good as West Indies one.
2- Sikandar Raza has been one of the best all-rounders in the tournament giving back-to-back amazing performances for his team and becoming player of the match in both of his last matches. He scored 170 runs and took 6 wickets in the last 3 matches, one of the main reasons his team won the last two matches.
3- Richard Ngarava has been the go-to bowler for Zimbabwe as he picked up 8 wickets in the last 3 matches, which clearly gave his team huge help.
