Sunrisers Hyderabad will try to bounce back in the winnings ways against the Delhi Capitals after losing two previous back-to-back matches against Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. The pitch offers everything as Spinners, pacers, and batters enjoyed their game in the first match. It is one of the best neutral pitches on which players’ ability will decide their performance, not the pitch going to favor the type of players.
In recent times, the Pitch at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium favored spinners more than batters and pacers. But as this will be the first match, that pitch will be new, and we can see a few good scoring totals of around 160-170, but later on, we will see the spinners leading the match. Rahul Tripathi is not looking in form as he scored just 145 runs in 6 matches, whereas he has a great IPL record in the past few seasons. He scored 413 runs in 14 matches last season with an average of 37. The strike rates of Sunrisers Hyderabad batters are way down, and only Aiden Markram has a better strike rate.
Mayanka Markande and Marco Jansen are the only ones who are able to take wickets regularly, but other bowlers are not at their best because they are just being very expensive with their economy rate. “Disappointed again, never nice to lose. Not good with the bat, couldn’t build partnerships and then you struggle to put in a good total. We certainly thought this wasn’t a 130 wicket, it was more around 160,”

Sunrisers Hyderabad needs to work as a unit else they will not be going to reach the playoff because they are looking weakest team in the IPL 2023. The team management not picked any genuine all-rounder for the team, which is one of the most surprising things for most of the ex-cricketers who also talked about it because no team becomes successful without a good all-rounder.

Team Preview of Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals are the bottom-table team who just got one win and 5 losses in 6 matches. They still have a huge issue with the batting lineup, even though they won their previous match by 4 wickets. Except for David Warner, no one else is scoring runs for the team. Axar Patel, who is a bowling allrounder, has the second-highest runs till now, which clearly shows that the Delhi side is in huge trouble with batting.
The Delhi team bowling unit is doing pretty well, and in recent matches, they were able to restrict the opposition team to a low score, but still, they failed to chase it. Anrich Nortje and Kuldeep Yadav take wickets regularly in every match.
In the previous match, Ishant Sharma showed everyone that he still got it in him and gave the player of the match performance, picking up two wickets and giving just 19 runs in his four-over spell.
Mitchell Marsh and Prithvi Shaw are in the worst batting form as they are not able to clear the 15-run mark.
