The main man for them in the previous match against the defending champion Gujarat Titans side was Shiron Hetmyer, who is slowly becoming a more and more reliable batsman for the Rajasthan Royals side. He played a fantastic inning, scoring runs in 26 balls and hitting the match’s winning shot to seal the victory by three wickets.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Dhruv Jurel’s cameo were one of the match-decider moments for the Rajasthan Royals side. Their pace bowling unit needs some improvement because their spin unit is best in the IPL 2023. Sandeep Sharma has been amazing for them, and he was the best bowler for them in the previous match, as he took two wickets by giving away 25 runs in 4 overs.

Lucknow Super Giants lost their last match against the Punjab Kings by 2 wickets. The big positive for them in their previous match was KL Rahul’s form was back, and he looked like the talented KL, which impressed everyone in the world.
Kl Rahul scored 74 runs in just 56 balls, but other than him, the middle order failed to score any runs in the match, and they were able to set a total of 159 only, which was low on the ground like Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
“I think we were about 10 runs short towards the end. The dew came in and it seemed to help the batters a little bit more. We did not execute well with the ball. When you are playing on a new ground and a new pitch, you cannot rely on the previous games. If a couple of batters get in, play good knocks, we can get to 180-190,” said Rahul.

They need to change a few players like Deepak Hooda, who is not performing at all in the IPL 2023. He played 5 matches and scored just 37 runs with an average of 7 which is lower than any 11th-down tailender. They can include Quinton de Kock as the impact player in place of Mark Wood when Lucknow Super Giants bats which will balance the side of the Lucknow Super Giants and add a fantastic T20 player like de Kock.
The bowling of Lucknow Super Giants is not performing consistently, especially the 2nd spinner of the team is not reliable. Ravi Bishnoi is doing his job fine, but it was just a confusing decision by KL Rahul not to give Ravi his full quota of bowling, as he bowled only 2.3 overs. KL Rahul needs to understand the situation and keep himself ready because he was not rotating his bowlers well and should have given more overs to Ravi Bishnoi, who is a regular wicket-taker for them in this season of IPL 2023.
Yudhvir Singh Charak had an amazing match as he picked 2 wickets and gave only 19 runs in 3 overs, but still, KL Rahul did not go with him in the last over. There are going to be a few changes in the lineup in the next match for the Lucknow Super Giants.
