This wasn’t a score that was above par, there was not too much swing. I felt we should have chased this. The mistake was losing wickets at regular intervals, we needed partnerships and they came too late for us.

Death Bowling is a concern for the Rajasthan Royals as they don’t have a proper death bowler who can take wickets or give them dot ball. Gujarat Titans have good finishers who can hurt them well if the match goes into the last overs.

Team Preview of Gujarat Titans
Gujarat Titans are still at the top of the table after losing against Delhi Capital in a low-scoring encounter. They need to gather as a unit once again because the last match was a disappointment for them.
It was a rare loss for the Gujarat Titans against the bottom team in the points table Delhi Capitals, and maybe that was one of the factors which made them lose the match. They might take it easy and try to take the match too deep, which turns out to be out of control.
Hardik Pandya should have started to hit early because he took a lot of his time to try to hit some shots. However, he took most of the blame on himself in the post-match interview and told them that they would look in a positive way. Also, it was learning for them how to play in the end phase of the match.
Wriddiman Saha needs to score some runs, or else someone else will take his place because he scored only 151 runs in 9 matches which is not a good set of numbers when you are an opening batsman. Srikar Bharat might get a chance to come to the team in place of Saha.
In the last encounter against the Rajasthan Royals, side Mohammed Shami was able to take up 3 wickets and gave just 25 runs. In his last match against the Delhi Capitals side, Shami destroyed the Delhi top order by taking 4 wickets and giving just 11 runs in 4 overs.
Shami also won the Player of the Match award, but on Sawai Mansingh’s pitch, it might be hard for him to find the same number of wickets because the pitch will not be going to favor his bowling style. Still, Shami has his own skill to bowl down at the perfect line and length to trouble the batters.
It is going to be tough for them because right now, they are having some trouble with the middle order, but the same goes for the Rajasthan Royals side, who are struggling with the batting. In the last few matches, only Jaiswal is the one-man army for Rajasthan.
There is a big chance that Jayant Yadav will come in place of Joshua Little, and Matthew Wade can come in place of Saha, who is not performing well. Wade does deserve a chance now, and Gujarat Titans should keep their focus if they want to finish at the top of the table to qualify for the Qualifiers of IPL 2023.
