Rajasthan Royals are one of the favorites to win the IPL title. This is also because their batting lineup is just above everyone else, and the inclusion of Joe Root gave them an upper hand in stability, but he will not be going to play anytime soon in the IPL as Jos Buttler and Hetmyer are enough to handle the batting unit. Delhi Capitals are having trouble in all departments, and they just seem like they don’t have any motivation or confidence in them to win the match. They lost both matches easily and gave up hope in the end to even fight for a win. The Delhi Capitals squad has great players on paper, but their batting is not working at all, even though they have great coaches like Ricky Ponting, Sourav Ganguly, and Shane Watson.
Mitchell Marsh once again failed to score a run as on Mohammad Shami’s bowl, he got played down, and this is the second time his stumps went flying. He was so good in the T20 series against India, but he looks like he is not giving his 100% with the bat as he did when he played from the Australia side.
The other problem is Prithvi Shaw, who again failed to score a run as he got out on just 7. The bowling unit needs to be clicked, and there will be a few changes in the bowling unit as Mukesh Kumar once again failed to pick a wicket and was expensive with his bowling. Anrich Nortje was the only one who looked in good form as he clean bowled Wriddhiman Saha on his first ball, and then he bowled the inform player Shubman Gill.
