Harpreet Brar took 4 wickets, and it was a big wicket of David Warner, Rilee Rossouw, Philip Salt, and Manish Pandey. The way he bowled against the left-hand batsmen was an amazing performance by him, and that spell of his just broke the back of the Delhi Capitals.
The batsmen of Punjab Kings need to be consistent with run-scoring even though they won their last match against the Delhi Capitals, but the performance by the batsmen was not good except for Prabhsimran Singh.
Punjab Kings should give one more chance to Atharva Tiade and Harpreet Singh Bhatia, who performed decently in the 2 matches they got to play, but after Dhawan came, they were removed from the Playing XI of the IPL 2023.

Delhi Capitals are already out of the IPL season 2023 and playing for their own pride, but still, they should need to play with all their heart which they did not do in the last match against the Punjab Kings.
Delhi’s batting unit was a total flop in the whole season of the IPL, and it was so dishearting to see Delhi Capitals performing this badly in the IPL season 2023. Not for the once Delhi Capitals seemed to be the team that wanted to qualify for the playoffs.
Delhi Capitals played their IPL season like an amateur team in the big league, and they are in the league just to participate. Delhi side needs to change their coaches and team management in the next season because too many superstars and coaches in one team are never going to be best for any team, not just Delhi Capitals.
Every top team of IPL has a one-star coach on their side, and other are skilled coaches who don’t have a huge ego, which help them to communicate with each other.
For the next match against the Punjab Kings, Delhi should give few chances to players who have not played a single match in the IPL so at least they could see the talent and depth they have in the squad. The middle-order batter needs to perform better because in the last match, Philip Salt and David Warner gave them a perfect start, but the whole team collapsed after Philip Salt got out.
The bowling department has been decent for the Delhi Capitals side in the IPL season 2023, but the batting one is a total disaster. It is going to be tough for the Delhi side to improve the batting unit in the next IPL season.
It is surprising that Delhi Capitals were not given a single chance to Lungi Ngidi, who did quite well in the SAT20 league in South Africa and had a decent record in the Chennai Super Kings squad.
