TATA IPL 2023 breaks record of most number of sixes in an IPL season:

TATA IPL 2023 is one of the most exciting IPL seasons ever seen by the cricket fans, as many impossible things happened in this season. The targets that were thought to be unbeatable earlier were not only crossed by the teams but absolutely shattered by the IPL 2023 teams, and the way players played this season hasn’t been seen by anyone earlier. Records were broken, new records were made by young talents, and not even the last qualifier for the playoffs was a suspense until the 70th match of the season, which has only 74 matches in the list. Similarly, the record for the maximum number of sixes struck in one IPL season has been broken this time.

In the IPL 2023 season, a total of 1066 sixes have been hit, and there are still 4 matches left in this season, including the final match, which is going to happen at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The most number of sixes were hit previously in the season 2022. The number of sixes hit this season would increase further and surpass the current number easily as the four teams that have qualified for the playoffs would be competing against each other to win the final.

Four teams, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, and the table toppers Gujarat Titans, would be fighting each other in the upcoming matches of the IPL 2023 as this season is nearing its end for the qualifier one. Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans would fight for the qualifier 1 spot, and the eliminator would compete against the winner of the eliminator 1, which would happen between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. The winner would compete against the loser of the qualifier 1, and the team that would manage to win will be in the final. The final date of the IPL is May 28, 2023.
