What is IPL?
The Indian Premier League (IPL), founded in 2007 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), is one of the most popular and profitable sporting events in the world. It features a thrilling brand of Twenty20 cricket, with eight teams representing different cities across India competing against each other in a round-robin format. Players from all over the world join to play for these teams, alongside some of the best local players, and the matches are always full of high-intensity drama. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the most popular and well-known cricket teams in India, with an illustrious history that stretches back to 2008. The team was founded by United Spirits, a liquor company in India, and takes its name from their famous royal challenge whisky brand.
Since then, RCB has been one of the most consistent performers in the Indian Premier League (IPL), despite never having won the IPL title. The Chennai Super Kings, is a premier team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Founded in 2008, it was the brainchild of India Cements Limited and the Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited. The team plays its home matches at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where its passionate fanbase show their loyalty with thunderous cheers and vibrant banners.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are a beloved and successful cricket team that represents the city of Kolkata in the Indian Premier League. Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings, formerly known as the Kings XI Punjab, are a franchise cricket team based in Mohali, Punjab that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Founded in 2008 as part of the IPL expansion, Punjab Kings were one of two teams to be added for the tournament’s second season. The team is jointly owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta and Karan Paul. Through its 13 seasons in the IPL, Punjab Kings have had mixed fortunes. While they topped the league table during their 2014 season and finished runners-up that year, they have only made one other playoff appearance since then.
The team plays its home games at PCA Stadium which is located in Mohali. They have occasionally played some of their home games at either Dharamsala or Indore since 2010. The team has had several star players over its history including English cricketer Paul Collingwood who took over as head coach for their 2020 IPL campaign. Some of their most successful players include KL Rahul and Chris Gayle who both excelled for them during their 2019 season while Finnish all-rounder Prabhsimran Singh was instrumental during the 2020 tournament with his explosive batting performances at the top of the order.

Founded in 2021, the franchise is owned by CVC Capital Partners and captained by Hardik Pandya, one of the best all-rounders in the world cricket. Aside from Hardik, the team’s star players include Axar Patel, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Despite being a new team, they achieved remarkable success in their maiden title at IPL 2022.
The home ground of Gujarat Titans is Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera where they have had several thrilling matches in recent years. The crowd has been just as vibrant as ever during the Gujarat Titans’ games which has helped contribute to their success throughout their time in IPL. Apart from its home ground, it also hosts some of its games at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.
Furthermore, under coach Ashish Nehra’s guidance, Gujarat Titans has built an amazing side with an excellent mix of experience and youth. He has aided them to become one of the most balanced teams among others currently participating in IPL.
