India vs Australia, Pitch Report, Venue Stats, 3rd ODI Preview. Will Indain Cricket Team bounce back or again going to be hunted by Left Arm Swing?

India will take on Australian Cricket Team in the final decider match of the ODI series after being thrashed down by Australia in the 2nd ODI by 10 wickets. The 10 wickets thrashing is becoming more common for the Indian Cricket team. Last year they were defeated by England by 10 wickets in the Semi-Final of the T20 World Cup.

India was confident in the 2nd ODI after they defeated the Australian cricket team in the 1st ODI match of the series by 5 wickets. Though the win was not an easy win at all, even after India bowled out the Australian cricket team at 188-10 in 35.4 overs. Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj bowled beautifully as they both took 3 wickets each.

India won the toss in that match and opted to bowl first as there was some moisture on the pitch, which helped the Indian pace bowlers. Mitchell Marsh was the only one in that match who batted easily against the Indian bowlers and scored 81 runs in just 65 balls in reply. When the Indian batsmen came to bat Mitchell Starc showed his lethal swinging pace bowling and by the time India scored 39 runs, he already took three wickets. He bowled beautifully as Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav got plumb and given lbw out. Shubhman Gill showed some good shorts but then gave the catch to Labuschagne on Starc bowling and Ishan Kishan was out earlier in the innings by Stoinis.

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya slowly built the innings, but then Hardik Pandya got out on Marcus Stonis. Ravindra Jadeja came to the crease and scored some boundaries that eased the pressure on them. They started to build innings and slowly, Rahul came into his grove to show the world his skill was no joke. He played most of the shorts with the straight bat and also kept the scoreboard ticking to take his team over the line. India won the 1st match by 5 wickets which was a hard-fought match.

Australian Cricket Team won the toss in the 2nd match and let the Indian bat first. Mitchell Starc again bowled swinging full length delivers to trouble Indian batsmen in which he succeeded. The man InForm Shubman Gill got out on duck (0) on the 3rd ball of the innings. After that, Rohit Sharma and Kohli added 32 runs for the 1st wicket, but again Starc struck in his 3rd over when Rohit Sharma got out and on the next ball Suryakumar Yadav also got out. India was blown away as the innings ended on just 117 runs in just 26 overs. Only Axar Patel and Virat Kohli was the one who was able to cross 25 run mark. Four Indian batsmen got out on duck (0).

Mitchell Starc took 5 wickets, Sean Abbott took 3 wickets and Nathan Ellis took 2 wickets and in reply, Australia won the match by 10 wickets. Mitchell Marsh once again hammered the Indian pace bowlers as he scored 66 runs in just 36 balls, hitting 6 four and 6 sixes with his muscle power. Travis Head also scored a quick-fire 51 runs in 30 balls to win the match in style.

Rohit was disappointed after the match and said in the post-conference, “It is just disappointing. We didn’t apply ourselves with the bat. Didn’t put enough runs on the board. It wasn’t a 117 wicket. Kept losing wickets and that didn’t allow us to get the runs we wanted.”

Indian Batting lineup is still one of the best lineups in the current cricketing world but left-arm pace bowlers have always been a problem for the Indian side and many opposition teams know this weakness which is why most of the teams include the left-arm pace bowlers against India to trouble them.

The third ODI match is going to happen in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on March 22, 2023, from 1:30 Pm.

Ma Chidambaram (Chepauk) is the ground that favors bowlers more than batsmen, and it can be another low-scoring match on this ground. Indian top order will be under pressure, and because the weather will be gloomy and overcast, the ball going to swing as well. Starc can be lethal for them again and the Indian top order should find a way to tackle him because the ball is going to swing. One good news for the Indian side is that it is going to spin more on this surface, which will favor the three Indian spinners (Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja).

There will be some changes in the Indian lineup as Mohammed Shami might get a rest because he played Test matches and the first two ODI, so there might be a chance for Umran Malik or Jaydev Unadkat in the side. Suryakumar Yadav has to step up to his potential and play as he does in T20 because he has not performed well in ODI for Indian Team till now. Shreyas Iyer is out because of his back injury which is hurting the Indian middle order as he was one of the most consistent performer.
