GT VS CSK: The Gill Class
From the Gujarat Titans side, Shubman Gill once again showed everyone why he is a prodigy in the cricket world and for the Indian Cricket team as he scored 63 in just 36 balls and his backfoot punches and pulls were something every coach or players praised. When you see Gill batting, you feel he is just above everyone and even one of the world’s best batsmen Virat Kohli also said once that even he was not even 10% skilled like Shubhman Gill at his age.
He is a young and modern generation player but he sticks with the basics of cricket and always relies on the proper cricketing shots, not some pallu swoop or switch hits. He has so much ease in his batting which makes you feel that he is not an aggressive player but he generally plays above 135 strike rate and yesterday, his inning was superb as he scored runs with a 175 strike rate.
The Rashid Show
Rashid Khan Won the Player of the Match award for his crucial two wickets of Ben Stokes and Mooen Ali, who looked dangerous, but Rashid Khan got them both. Wriddhiman Saha took superb catches behind the stump. Rashid just changed the game’s momentum when Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad looked dangerous.
He is now also a proper All-Rounder, as his batting has greatly improved in recent years. Even last year, when Gujarat Titans played against the Chennai Super kings, Rashid Khan scored an explosive 40 runs. In this match, he scored 10 runs in 3 balls to help his team win. MS Dhoni’s Last Dance season is off to a loss

Tushar Deshpande, the First Impact Player in the History of IPL
Tushar Deshpande became the first player in IPL history to be used as an Impact player. He replaces Ambati Rayudu in the match to give Chennai Super Kings more bowling options. On his first ball, he almost impacted the match when he bowled to Saha, who got a thick edge and went over the third-man fence.
He took the crucial wicket of Shubhman Gill, who was showing his class and could have ended the match way earlier than it did. Deshpande leaked runs with his bowling and in just 3.2 overs, he gave 51 runs which cost CSK to lose the match.
The first match was exciting and we saw some young guns blazing out their shots and even some veterans showed their experience on the field, it was an eventful match and now Gujarat Titans Beat Chennai Super Kings in all three matches. Hardik Pandya’s Team started the season with a win whereas Dhoni’s Last Dance season started off with a loss.
