Five players to look out for in the Asian Games 2023 football tournament

The Asian Games 2023 football tournament is one of the most prestigious competitions in the region, featuring some of the best talents from 24 nations. The 2023 edition will be held in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 16 and will be a great opportunity for players to showcase their skills and impress their national team coaches. Here are five players who could make a big impact in the tournament:

Sunil Chhetri (India): The veteran striker is India’s all-time leading scorer with 92 goals in 142 appearances, and he will be eager to lead his team to glory in their first Asian Games since 2014. Nguyen Quang Hai (Vietnam): The versatile midfielder is Vietnam’s star player, capable of playing on either wing or as an attacking midfielder. Quang Hai plays for Hanoi FC in his homeland, winning four league titles and two domestic cups. He was also instrumental in Vietnam’s historic run to the quarter-finals of the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019™, scoring three goals and earning the MVP award. Heung-min Son (South Korea): The Tottenham Hotspur forward is the best player in Asia, having scored 37 goals in 111 caps for South Korea.
