Former UFC champion Conor McGregor was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at game 4 of the NBA finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets. The incident, as stated by the woman who is claiming to be the victim in this case, happened after game 4 on June 9, when Conor McGregor violently assaulted her in the bathroom at the Kaseya Center. McGregor was part of the crowd and got highlighted after he knocked out the Heat’s mascot, which was supposed to be a skit but landed the Heat’s mascot in the ER. Denying all the allegations against Conor McGregor, his attorney, Barbara Llanes, said that the allegations are “false” and his client “will not be intimidated”.
The victim’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, said that his client has already provided the clothing she wore during the incident to the Miami Police, and the Miami Heat is looking into the allegations.
“We are aware of the allegations and are conducting a full investigation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, we will withhold further comment.”
the team said in a statement.
The UFC is also looking at the allegations and has released statements from their side.
“The organization is aware of the recent allegations regarding Conor McGregor and will continue to gather additional details regarding the incident, the MMA promotion said. UFC will allow the legal process to play out before making any additional statements”.

This is not the first time Conor McGregor has been accused of sexual assault. In 2019, he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in an Irish hotel. The UFC superstar hasn’t won a single match since 2020 and fought last at UFC 264 when his leg got broken while fighting Dustin Poirier. He is expected to fight this year with Michael Chandler, but only after he comes out clean in the USADA doping test.
