PFL announced play offs card for August 4, 2023.
The Professional Fighters League has announced fight cards for August 4. Fighters from the featherweight and lightweight divisions would be seen in action at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. For the main card, Bubba Jenkins will be taking on Jesus Pinedo. Both fighters would be seeking to reach the finals of the featherweight division, including Jesus Pinedo, who booked his ticket to the playoffs after knocking out 2022 PFL champion Brendan Loghnane in the very first round of the fight. Bubba Jenkins lost the PFL 2022 final to Brendan Loghnane, but this time he would have prepared himself for the fight to secure his spot in the 2023 finals. In another fight in the featherweight category, Movlid Khaybulaev would face Gabriel Braga to secure a spot in the finals of the featherweight category.
In the ten fight cards revealed by PFL for the first playoffs of 2023, light heavyweight fighter Josh Silveira would be seen fighting against Ty Flores in the co-main event, and Marthin Hamlet vs. Impa Kasanganay is also on the card. Undefeated featherweights like Gabriel Braga will fight Movlid Khaybulaev, who was the featherweight PFL champion in 2021 and is looking for his 22nd victory in MMA. On the other hand, Gabriel Baga’s eyes will be on the $1 million prize. Many changes happened in the 205-pound category of the PFL as Rob Wilkinson and ex-UFC fighter Thiago Santos were found positive in drug tests and barred from fighting as of now.
