“I can fight with everyone; I don’t care who.” Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev, one of the deadliest fighters in mixed martial arts, has been out of action since September 2022 after missing weight at UFC 279 when the main event was scheduled. He had to face Nate Diaz in the main event, but as he missed the weight, the fight then happened between Nate Diaz and El Cucuy (Tony Ferguson). Khamzat fought Kevin Holland at UFC 279 and won it easily by a first-round submission without consuming a single punch in the fight.

Since then, it’s been almost eight months, and The Borz (Khamzat Chimaev)hasn’t fought anyone. He has so far proven the potential he has to pin down anyone in the weight class through his ground and pound game. When the question was asked of the UFC president about the Swedish fighter, Dana White said that the fighter is dealing with some personal issues and can’t be booked for a fight right now, to which Khamzat Chimaev replied on his social media account by saying

” I have no problems with fights, If they gave me a fight, I would have fought a long time ago, I did so many training camps and not one fight, the problem is definitely not with me, prepared in Dubai then to Thailand, why do I train so much if there is no fight, I don’t understand.”

Though former UFC welterweight champion Kumaru Usman showed interest in fighting the Borz, the proposal was denied by UFC president Dana White, who said that the fight would happen at middleweight only.

Ariel Halwani took this opportunity to slam UFC president Dana White for saying that the UFC is bound to give three fights in a year to the fighters they sign. He retweeted Khamzat’s post on Twitter.

“Remember this when you hear, “we have to give them a fight 3 times year.”
