Gabe Osabuohien, former West Virginia Mountaineers basketball player, was involved in a serious car accident on Monday morning. According to reports, the forward suffered two fractures in his neck and a broken nose. However, he is expected to make a full recovery within six weeks.
Osabuohien started his college basketball career at Arkansas in 2018 before transferring to West Virginia the following year. During his two-year stint with the Mountaineers, he played in 70 total games and averaged 2.5 points and 3 rebounds per game.
The news of Osabuohien’s accident came as a shock to many of his former teammates and coaches.
