Kedar Jadhav Joins RCB Squad, Replaces Willey for IPL 2023

Kedar Jadhav has been added to the RCB squad for IPL 2023, replacing David Willey who took three wickets in four matches this season.

Excitement is building up as Royal Challengers Bangalore get set to take on Lucknow Super Giants in the 43rd match of IPL 2023 on Monday. With both teams looking to secure crucial points in the league table, the toss is sure to be a nail-biter. However, before the match, we have an interesting development from the RCB camp. David Willey, the star England all-rounder, has been replaced by Kedar Jadhav for the remainder of the season. Jadhav, who made his debut in the IPL back in 2010, has played 93 games in the tournament and scored a whopping 1196 runs. Having represented RCB in the past, he brings valuable experience to the squad, and it will be intriguing to see how he fits into the team’s plans for the rest of this season.

In this year’s IPL season, Willey was a key player for RCB, playing in four matches and taking three wickets. However, his season was cut short due to a fractured toe and adductor strain. Despite this setback, Willey’s contribution to RCB’s team was significant, and they will no doubt miss his presence in their future games. Looking back at the matches played between RCB and LSG, RCB has won two out of three matches so far, making them the favorites for the next game. However, the previous game saw LSG snatch a win from RCB’s grasp, which may give them the confidence needed to repeat their success. With both teams gunning for a win, fans can expect an exciting and closely fought match.
