The new Impact Player rule gives some old guns the last chance to play their last IPL because many bowlers who are old and not good with batting will be used as Impact players in this IPL. Many teams brought experienced players who can be used as Impact players and gave them a chance in their last IPL season.

He also became the only captain who led the team in 200 matches as a captain who might be an unbroken record for any player in the future. He is also the only player who scored more than 500+ runs in the 20th over in the IPL. It is going to be very tough for Chennai Super Kings to choose their next captain as last year they failed as a team when they gave the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja.
