SRH vs PBKS IPL Prediction: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings, 14th Match of 2023
SRH vs PBKS IPL Prediction: SunRisers Hyderabad will host Punjab Kings at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on April 9, 2023, and the match will start at 7:30 PM/IST.
SunRisers Hyderabad looked the worst team after all team finished their first match as they lost to Rajasthan Royals by 72 runs which is a considerable margin in T20. The team missed their South African Trio in the match, who will be going to join them in the match against the Lucknow Super Giants side. Aiden Markram, who was appointed as the captain for the SunRisers side this year, joined the team alongside his other two South-African teammates, Marco Jansen and Henrich Klassen, who are going to give a huge boost to the SunRisers Hyderabad side, who lost their first match by a huge margin against the Rajasthan Royal side.
SunRisers Hyderabad is now in huge trouble after they lost to Lucknow Super Giants in their 2nd match. Aiden Makram seemed confused about picking his favorite XI and failed to read the pitch right as on the spin-friendly pitch, he first picked batting and then did not have any reliable spinner to use the condition well.
Punjab Kings are looking solid this year as they won two out of two matches in the Indian Premier League in 2023. In the first match, they showed their batting class as all their batsman scored runs and the bowlers did their job right, but in the 2nd match, which was a close encounter against the Rajasthan Royals side who came to the match thumping SunRisers by 72 runs, looked confident but Punjab Kings at the end able to win by five runs because of Sam Curran exceptional 19th over bowling. Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran just smashed down the Punjab Kings bowlers.
SRH vs PBKS: Head-to-Head Record

Batting second won | 37 |
Average 1st innings batting score | 163 |
Pace Bowlers Took | 485 Wickets |

The pitch offers everything as Spinners, pacers, and batters enjoyed their game in the first match. It is one of the best neutral pitches on which players’ ability will decide their performance, not the pitch going to favor the type of players.
In recent times, the Pitch at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium favored spinners more than batters and pacers. But as this will be the first match, that pitch will be new, and we can see a few good scoring totals of around 160-170, but later on, we will see the spinners leading the match. The last match played on this pitch was between SunRisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals, which was one-sided.
Rajasthan Royals batters found it easy to score runs, but on the other hand, SunRisers Hyderabad was spun away by Yuzvendra Chala’s spin bowling.
SRH vs PBKS: Team Preview of SunRisers Hyderabad
SunRisers Hyderabad will be happy to welcome their captain Aiden Markram to the team alongside the other two South-African players, Marco Jasen and Henrich Klassen. The team lost in the first match against the Rajasthan Royal side.
SunRisers Hyderabad is looking into deep trouble. They did not even include Henrich Klassen when they had one foreign player slot available in the playing XI and paid the heavy price for that. Harry Brook, who was noted to be the next Virat Kohli of cricket and someone who will be the best talent, failed to score even 20 runs in two matches. He looks so unsettled that he might be dropped in the next match against the Punjab Kings.
SunRisers Hyderabad are the tournament’s dark horse as they got their captain and players back in the side. They will fight for the title contention, and any team that treats them as an easy target will pay for it.
