LSG vs SRH IPL Prediction: Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, 10th Match of IPL 2023
LSG vs SRH IPL Prediction: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 10th Match of IPL 2023 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, on April 7th.
Lucknow Super Giants played two matches in IPL 2023. They won the first match easily against Delhi Capitals in which Mark Wood and Kyle Mayers showed their explosive power. Mark Wood thumped the Delhi Capitals lineup and took a 5-Wicket haul, and before that, Kyle Mayers scored 73 runs off 38 balls. In the second match, Lucknow Super Giants faced off against the mighty Chennai Super Kings and lost the match by 12 runs in a high-scoring match. Kyle Mayers again scored another half-century, but top-order batters did not make some good runs. Mark Wood once again performed well as he took 3 wickets, but death bowling is a big concern for the Lucknow Super Giants side.
SunRisers Hyderabad looked the worst team after all team finished their first Match as they lost to Rajasthan Royals by 72 runs which is a considerable margin in T20. The team missed their South African Trio in the Match, who will be going to join them in the Match against the Lucknow Super Giants side. Aiden Markram, who was appointed as the captain for the SunRisers side this year, joined the team alongside his other two South-African teammates, Marco Jansen and Henrich Klassen, who are going to give a huge boost to the SunRisers Hyderabad side, who lost their first Match by a huge margin against the Rajasthan Royal side.
The Batting lineup of SunRisers will be going to be very settled and also will have depth. All three will not be going to play in the starting XI of the team, but Aiden Markram will surely come to the team in place of Abhishek Sharma, who failed to capitalize on the chance he got in the first Match and got out on a duck.
Head to Head
Lucknow Super Giants and SunRisers Hyderabad played only one Match against each other in which Lucknow Super Giants won the Match by 12 runs in which KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda scored a half-century. Avesh Khan took four wickets, Jason Holder took three wickets, and from SunRisers Hyderabad side Rahul Tripathi scored the highest number of runs (40), and T-Natrajan took two wickets.
Lucknow Super Giants will be the favorite to win this Match, too, but the inclusion of three South African players can be vital for the SunRisers Hyderabad.

The pitch is slow, and there will be a turn for the spin bowlers. Spinners will be key on this ground as in previous matches, and we saw part-time bowlers like Deepak Hooda and Glenn Phillips getting full 4 overs in the Match. In the first few matches, we can see some runs, but later on, the spinner will be going to rule the Match, and batters will find it hard to get their runs. The Last Match on this pitch was one-sided, as Lucknow posted a high-scoring total of 193 runs, whereas Delhi Capitals were able to make just 143 runs. We can see high scoring again if both team players play with their potential.
Team Preview of Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giant’s batting looked unsettled as in both matches, only Kyle Mayers looked in form, and Nicholas Pooran but other than these two, their captain KL Rahul found himself in trouble again in the 2nd Match.
“When Kyle Mayers batted with a strike rate of 240, KL Rahul went into a shell. Once Mayers got out, Rahul realized he had to go for the big shots and was dismissed at a strike rate of just 111. It’s very difficult to suddenly be explosive when you’re already playing in one gear. You need to play every ball on its merit, and just because the opening partner is going hard doesn’t mean you should slow down,” Sanjay Manjrekar said.
Lucknow Super Giants’ bowling has been great as Mark Wood already has eight wickets in his name, and Ravi Bishnoi has two to his name, but still, other bowlers have to step in and show their class. Daniel Sams can come in place of Marcus Stoinis because they need some bowling depth on the side.
Team Preview of SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH)
SunRisers Hyderabad will be happy to welcome their captain Aiden Markram to the team alongside the other two South-African players, Marco Jasen and Henrich Klassen. The team lost in the first Match against the Rajasthan Royal side, who hammered them high. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out of form as he leaked too many runs in his three overs and did not look like a bowler who can create some trouble for batters.
T. Natarajan looked good in his first match. Even the new bowler from Afghanistan, Fazalhaq Farooqi, took two wickets in his first match of the season but also leaked many runs. Jos Buttler has hammered Adil Rashid, but he also created some chances for SunRisers Hyderabad to pick wickets.
