Players Delhi Capitals Buy in IPL 2023 Auction

• The first player they brought was Mukesh Kumar for 5.50 Crore, which is the 2nd most expensive uncapped player after Shivam Mavi for 6 Crore, but recently he was picked by Indian Team in the T20 series against Sri Lanka and played his debut match on 3rd Jan, 2023. Till now, he has played 6 Matches for team India and taken 7 wickets. He was with Kolkata Knight Riders in the past.
• The second player Delhi Capitals picked is South African left-hand batsman Rilee Rossouw for 4.6 crores.
• Phil Salt was also one of the players whom Delhi Capitals picked in the auction for 2 Crore. He can also do the wicket-keeping for the side.
• Manish Pandey was also one of the batsmen whom Delhi Capital picked for 2.40 Crore in the IPL Auction 2023.
• Delhi Captial (DC) brought the Indian Vertern pace bowler Ishant Sharma to their side for 50 Lakh.

DC IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals Strength

Delhi Capitals has always been one of the best batting sides in the IPL and had one of the best openers. This time they have David Warner and Prithvi Shaw as the openers. They could give Phil Salt a chance if any of them fail to deliver this season.

Rilee Rossouw’s form is one of the big boosts for the Delhi Capitals’ batting lineup, as he is in brilliant form and showed it in the Pakistan Premier League (PSL) 2023. He scored 388 runs in just 9 matches in which he also has one century.

Delhi has been one of the most balanced sides in the IPL, where they tick all the right marks to be the perfect team. It is just they are not able to deliver their league-stage performance in the playoff. They even gave improved their bowling unit by bringing in Mukesh Kumar and retaining Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav.
