ACC emerging Asia Cup 2023: Sai Sudarshan and Rajvardhan Hangargekar shine as Ind A beat Pak A by 8 wickets.
ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023 match between India A and Pakistan A ended in India’s favor, as both the bowling and batting departments did well to seal victory over Pakistan A. India had to chase the target of 206 runs in 50 overs, but India did the job in 36.4 overs with two consecutive sixes. Sai Sudarshan played an unbeaten innings of 104 runs off 110 balls, and Nikin Jose hit 53 runs for his team to crush Pakistan A by 8 wickets at Colombo. With this win, India A remained unbeaten in the group stage matches and ended the group matches as group toppers. In group A, Bangladesh ended as table toppers, and these two teams will lock horns in the semi-finals to reach the final of the event.
Pakistan A batter has no answer for India. A bowling attack as the pacer Rajvardhan Hangargekar was on fire and picked up a five-wicket haul of 5/42 in the match. He started with a double wicket maiden and ended his spell by cleaning the tailenders. Slow left-arm orthodox Manav Suthar also dismissed three players in the match and helped India A restrict Pakistan A to 205 runs, and later Sai Sudarshan, with his batting, led India A to victory. The young left-handed batter showed a glimpse of his batting skills in the final of the IPL 2023 while playing for Gujarat Titans. He hit 96 off 47 deliveries, though his team couldn’t lift the title. The young talent showed how good he is at handling big games, and that’s what he showed this time as well.
Focusing more on risk-free runs. Focusing on ones and twos, and reducing dot balls. Against spinners, it was dicey and tricky wicket to bat. It was better to face against fast bowlers. (The target of 200 first time) We are just reacting to the situation in front of us. (Opening with Abhishek) Fantastic. I have admired Abhishek when he was in IPL and I wasn’t.
