Kai Havertz and other star debutant shines in the debut match for Arsenal in Pre-season match against MLS All-Stars by 5-0
Arsenal won 5-0 against MLS All-Stars in the United States after Kai Havertz and Declan Rice shone in their debut match for their new club.
Mikel Arteta already shut many critics’ mouths after his club performed well against one of the best teams in the USA MLA All-Stars. However, this is not going to be enough for him as last season Arsenal lost their best chance in the last 20 years to lift the title, but in the last two months they bottled, which made them slip to the 2nd place and Manchester City won the title.
The Arsenal team started on him as the first goal came in under 5 minutes, as Gabriel Jesus scored the goal, and soon after that, Leandro Trossard scored the second goal of the match in the 23rd minute. Jorginho scored the third goal in the 47th minute.
Gabriel Martinelli scored the fourth goal for the Arsenal side in the 84th minute, and then the new signing Kai Havertz scored the late goal after coming off the bench to make the score line 5-0. Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice were other new joinings of Arsenal who came off the bench.
Declan Rice showed quite an amazing style of play and ball distribution after coming off the bench on 65 minutes. He solidified the defense area of Arsenal, which they lacked in the later half-season in the premier league, which was the main reason why they failed to keep up the momentum to clinch the trophy and at the end of the season, they slipped from 1st to 2nd spot.
The Pre-season match was a good warm-up for the Arsenal team, but one injury concern came up for them as Trossard got injured. Arsenal club did spend quite well in the ongoing transfer window as they brought three high-profile players, Jurrien Timder for 40 million euros from Ajax, Kai Havertz for about 65 million euros from Chelsea, and their most expensive signing, Declan Rice for 105 million euros from West Ham.
