Morocco women’s football team created history after securing a place in the FIFA Women’s world cup for the first time, which will happen in Australia and New Zealand.

Morocco’s men’s football team created history in the 2022 world cup when they reached the semi-final in which they lost to France by 2-0. It was an amazing achievement for them, and now it is time for the Women’s team, who are going to play their first world cup after finishing runner-up in the African Nation Cup.

The squad is quite well synchronized as a unit, but the unlucky part for them is that their group is quite tough because they have Germany, Colombia, and the Korean Republic. They all have a chance to reach the round of 16. All three teams in the group have the experience to play against big teams in Europe, whereas Morocco women’s teams do not really have a lot of experience, but still, they can do what their Men’s team did.

One of their top players is Rosella Ayane, who plays in the women’s premier league for Tottenham Hotspur. In the season 2022/2023, she played 19 matches, scoring one goal and giving 4 assists. During the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, Ghizlane Chebbak, the captain of the Morocco team, scored the most goals, 3, and was also given one assist. She also plays midfield, and how she progresses with the ball is quite amazing.
