All about Costa Rica Women’s Football Team for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023
Costa Rica women’s football team will be going to appear in their second FIFA Women’s World Cup after missing the chance in 2019.
It will be their best chance to do wonders in the World Cup because right now, their team is well-settled, and most of the players in their team are the best they have ever had since 1999.
Costa Rica is in Group C of the FIFA Women’s football world cup with Spain, Japan, and Zambia. It is not going to be easy for them to reach the round of 16 because Spain and Japan are the favorites to be the top two from the group, but if they want any chances, then they challenge Japan, who is not having a good run since the 2019 world cup even though they are the champions in 2011 and runner up in 2015.
In the Qualifiers, they won 6 matches out of 7 in which they scored 29 goals and conceded 2 goals which clearly shows that Costa Rica is not an aggressive team in most matches. Just because he could finish in third place in CONCACAF Women’s led them to qualify.
Cristin Granados is one of the most experienced players for Costa Rica, scoring two goals and giving three assists. Raquel Rodriguez is another experienced midfielder with 55 goals.
