All about South Africa Women’s Football Team for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023
South Africa Women’s football team will look to continue their form in the FIFA Women’s World Cup after winning the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
They won the Wafcon for the first time after being runner-up 5 times in the same competition, which was quite heartbreaking, but last year, they were able to win it, which is a huge positive for them going into FIFA Women’s World Cup.
There were lots of wage disputes in the national squad as many of the players did not get any wages, and the association said they did not get any money from the government.
The South African team is in the 54th FIFA ranking in the women’s league. They do have some amazing players like Thembi Kgatlana, who has been one of the most skilled forward for the South African team.
Hildah Magaia is one of the amazing midfielders who will be the heart of the midfield. As she showed in the last 7 matches, she scored 4 goals.
It is going to be their first World Cup, and now they want to enjoy it best, but they are one of the wild teams who can surprise any team in the group.
