George St. Pierre will return to UFC FPI 6 in December.

UFC hall of famer and former two-division UFC champion George St. Pierre is finally returning to combat sports after six years of absence. The former UFC champion will be part of the UFC Fight Pass Invitational grappling series in December. In a recent video of him, he named some opponents that he would like to face, including retired martial artists, current competitors, etc., as it is not yet decided who he is going to fight in December. George St. Pierre last fought back in 2017 when he returned after four years off from the cage fight, and when he returned to the octagon, he fought with then middleweight champion Michael Bisping and ended the match via submission, claiming the title, though he had to relinquish it due to health issues.

George St. Pierre was retired from professional fighting competition but announced his return this time in grappling events. He named some potential fighters that he would love to compete against, and Nick Diaz was at the top of his list. He also praised the veteran for his jiu-jitsu skills. He is also ready to fight against the lightweight GOAT Khabib Nurmagomedov, and he believes that he is the legend in his fight division and he would love to fight against him. GSP didn’t back himself to name “The Borz” Khamzat Chimaev, whom he thinks is a tough guy to fight with.

After naming so many opponents that he would love to fight against, he also named a fighter that he doesn’t want to face in the grappling series, naming the grappling legend Gordon Ryan, who is the five-time ADCC world champion, four-time EBI champion, and two-time IBJJF no-gi world champion.

If there is a guy that I would not want to compete against in submission wrestling, it’s Gordon Ryan. Let’s pretend I didn’t see this. So we can leave it out of the final cut, alright?”
