Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury boxing match is confirmed, Francis to earn huge sum of money than UFC fights.
In a surprising manner, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou secured one of the most anticipated boxing matches against current undefeated WBC champion Tyson Fury, as the two will fight on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This would be the biggest fight for Francis Ngannou in terms of pay scale, as according to his representative, Marquel Martin, Ngannou would be getting the pay, which would be more than what Francis Ngannou got in total in his UFC fights. As per him, the sum would be even bigger than what he would be getting if he were to fight against Jon Jones in the UFC title defence.
Ngannou’s decision to leave the UFC is so far paying him huge deals, as the heavyweight fighter earlier signed a contract with PFL, and as per the conditions, he was allowed to take boxing matches. To everyone’s surprise, his first boxing match would be against one of the most popular boxing athletes on the planet, Tyson Fury. The boxing match would happen according to boxing rules, with 10 rounds of 3 minutes each, and knockouts would be permitted as per his associate Marquel Martin.
Francis Ngannou, in his UFC career, inflicted some of the deadliest knockouts on his opponents; he knocked out one of the most popular heavyweight fighters, Stipe Moicic, and went on to become UFC heavyweight champion. His last UFC fight was against Ciryl Gane, which also ended in his favour. After that, fans wanted him to fight with the GOAT, Jon Jones, but that didn’t happen, unfortunately, as he left the UFC, though two fighters briefly crossed paths in a PFL fight outside the cage and gave some moments for the fans to cheer amazingly from last month. Tyson Fury was calling out Jon Jones from last month for a boxing match, as both exchanged some words on Twitter but couldn’t agree to fight as both of them represent completely different sports.
