Gabriel Jesus opened up about why he left Manchester City for Arsenal

Gabriel Jesus opened up with the reason why he left Manchester City last summer and why he cried during the match.

After a year, Gabriel Jesus told everyone about his reason for leaving Manchester City, which is because Pep Guardiola made some hard decisions that hurt the striker.

2 years back, when Man City was playing with Paris Saint-Germain, Pep used Alex Zinchenko in the position of false 9, which was quite a confusing and weird selection because Zinchenko was not a regular player for man city, and he plays as a right-back or left-back position, but picking him in place of Gabriel Jesus was clearly the worst possible decision which Pep made.

Jesus also said that Pep did not even use Zinchenko in the training matches, which was used to prepare for the match, but using the RB back at false nine was crazy to him, and because of that, he cried and called his mother that he wants to leave the club. In that match, when Kylian Mbappe scored the first goal in under 5 minutes soon, Pep put Jesus in, and he scored a goal and also gave an assist which was an amazing performance by him.

Then, in the next match against RB Leipzig, Pep did not choose Jesus in the playing 11, which confirmed his decision to not stay in the club any longer, and when he got an offer from Arsenal for about 38 million euros, he accepted the term.

Gabriel Jesus had an amazing run with Arsenal as they stayed at the top of the table till January, but after they bottled up and lost the chance to win their first Premier League title after 2 decades. He played 33 matches for Arsenal, scoring 11 goals and giving 8 assists. He played a total of 185 Premier League matches in which he scored 69 goals and gave 39 assists. He is happy with Arsenal and the game time Mikel Arteta gives him for the club.
