Elon Musk will train with UFC legend George St. Pierre for his potential MMA fight against Meta CEO.
The two tech titans, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, have been making headlines since last week, this time not for some new technology invention or acquisition of some big company but for a potential cage fight between these two billionaires. Twitter owner Elon Musk and Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s last conversation on social media ended up building hype over a potential fight between the two, which most people think won’t happen due to the age gap and the fighting experience the two have, which makes a cage fight between the two highly impossible, but Elon Musk is not backing himself and keeps pushing to make the fight happen; recently he accepted the UFC’s legend George St. Pierre’s request to train him.
On June 24, George St. Pierre, mentioning Musk, tweeted that it would be an honor for him to train the Twitter owner, and on Tuesday 27, Elon Musk, in a reply to George St. Pierre, accepted the invitation and said, Let’s do it. The banter between the two started on Twitter when Twitter and Tesla’s CEO challenged Mark Zuckerberg for the cage fight, and to the people’s surprise, Zuckerberg replied with a “Send me Location” message. Then both had a talk with UFC president Dana White about arranging a cage fight, as Dana White revealed.
As of now, Musk’s reply to George St. Pierre is no joke, and the two could start training soon. The fight fans can probably see the two inside the octagon this year. One thing to note is that Mark Zuckerberg is quite proficient in Jiu-Jitsu and has time and time again shown his fighting skills to his fans, whereas Elon Musk doesn’t have any prior experience in martial arts, so Mark has the upper hand as of now if the fight is scheduled. George St. Pierre, who retired from the UFC in 2017 after winning his last fight against Michael Bisping, would be seen training the tech expert.
