Virender Sehwag’s comment on Adipurush sparks row on social media:

India’s veteran right handed batter Virender Sehwag is not just known for his explosive batting on the field but for his out-spoken personality as he never back himself from sharing his opinions on something and now a days he is quite active on social media where fans enjoy the sarcastic comments of him and recently his hilarious take on the movie Adipurush sparks row on social media, while taking a dig on the recently released film specifically on the actor Prabhas who is quite popular among cinema loving masses wrote.

“Adipurush dekhkar pata chala Katappa ne Bahubali ko kyun maara tha (After watching Adipurush, you realise why Kattappa killed Baahubali”

Virender Sehwag tweeted

The tweet didn’t go well with the Telugu star fans who lambasted Virender Sehwag for his sarcastic tweet and started comparing the careers of Sehwag and Prabhas and the differences in achievements between the two. Someone tweeted that “Virender Sehwag has scored 319 runs, which is the highest score of him in his career, and Prabhas movie Adipurush has already crossed Rs 340 crores in collection in the initial 10 days of release.” Clearly, the Prabhas fans were not happy with Sehwag’s comment, but many of the social media users supported the cricketer.

Adipurush since its release has sparked controversy as the movie is a kind of modern adaptation of “Ramayana”, the Hindu epic, which they handled carelessly as the creators of the movie let everyone’s expectations down due to its horrific dialogues and cinematography. The Indian masses, even after criticizing the movie when its trailer was released, went to watch the movie in theaters but got disappointed and criticized the movie makers. Some even demanded the movie be banned in India, and even the neighboring country Nepal banned the movie due to its misrepresentation of the history. Even after changing dialogue and some scenes, movie fans are boycotting it.
