Kai Havertz to Arsenal? Is the big question for the Arteta side, as it can be a make-or-break deal for next Season
The Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to bring in Chelsea striker Kai Havertz into his side to play as a creative attacking player for him as he is impressed by the versatility he brings to the table.
Chelsea brought him to the 2019/2020 stage, and his most iconic movement for the Chelsea club was the UEFA Champions League Final goal he scored that made them champions in the 2020 season.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also in talks with Chelsea for him, but Chelsea will not consider less than 70 million Euros for him as he is quite a young and talented player who can become one of the greatest as many players became after leaving Chelsea club.
Arteta is quite impressed by him and wants to fill the striker role which Arsenal lacked in the last season, which coasted them to get off their hand from the English Premier League title.
“He is the next big, big player to come from Germany,”
“He has some things [Michael] Ballack had, some things [Mesut] Ozil had, but he puts it into one package, which makes him so dangerous. I think he has a level of talent that nobody else has.”
Roberto Hilbert said in the interview with a press
Kai Havertz did not have a great spell with Chelsea, as he appeared in 139 games and scored only 32 goals, which is not really good for the player being brought in for around 72 million euros.
He was quite good under Thomas Tuchel, but he failed to give anything under Lampard and Graham Potter, so he could not score any goals for them.
It will be interesting to see how Kai goes to Arsenal and how he will play under Arteta because there, he will not be going to have the Chelsea Striker curse.
