Netherlands vs Nepal Match Prediction: Netherlands will face Nepal in the 14th Match of ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023 at Takashinga Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe, on June 2023, 2023.
The Netherlands won their last match against United Nations by 5 wickets, as it was quite an easy win for them. Their bowling department did quite a nice job taking quick wickets of the USA top order. Ryan Klein took the wicket of two top-order players, and soon, the other bowler gave him supported t stop the USA on 211, and when they came to bat, they were easily able to chase it down in the 43rd over with 5 wickets remaining.
Teja Nidamanuru and Scott Edwards gave a great performance to win the match by 5 wickets against the USA side quite easily, and now they will go up against Nepal. It will be a die match for both because whoever wins this match will go into the Super 6.
On the other hand, Nepal lost to West Indies by a huge margin, and their captain Shai Hope came to the rescue as West Indies defeated them by 101 runs. Nepal started off quite well against the West Indies side as they picked up two wickets under 10 runs and the third wicket at 55.
They were sloppy with the fielding, which is why they lost the match, as they dropped quite a few chances in the match, and their keeper dropped two chances of Pooran. The top order of the team started off quite badly as they were 5 down on 92 runs, but after that, they had few partnerships, but they lost the match by 101 runs which was an insulting loss for them.
It will be a tough challenge for them to win the next match against the Netherlands side, but also a great chance to get into the knockout stage. The captain of the Nepal team, Rohit Paudel, was not happy with the fielding, but he was happy with the bowling side.
Early stage, our bowlers bowled really well but we dropped a few catches. We could have done better in the field. Usually we do better fielding, today we missed few opportunities. They bowled good short balls to us. We could have done better by using the pace. Aarif and Gulsan played well. We’ll look forward to tackle those short balls in the next match. Playing against Test playing nations, it has taught me a lot. You have to be up to the mark. You can’t take any game lightly. We are looking forward to that game (vs Netherlands). We’ll go and express ourselves.

Netherlands vs Nepal: Head-to-Head ODI Record
Netherlands and Nepal played 2 ODI matches in which both won one-one matches. The last match they played against each other was a nail-biting match as Nepal won it by just 1 run. However, this time it is going to be very tough to predict who will come out as the winner because team quality is quite similar.

Team Preview Netherlands
The Netherlands side is one of the most talented sides as most of their player do play in many county club teams, and some of them are also in big bash league, but it is very sad to know that many of their main players will not feature in the ICC World Cup Qualifier because of financial issue.
In the last match against the USA side, they did give a good performance, but in their next match, they need to give a better performance for the team.
Important players for the Netherlands team in the match against Nepal
1- Scott Edwards scored 83 runs in the first match against the Zimbabwe side and 67 in his last match, which clearly shows that he is the backbone of the Netherlands batting lineup. In his last 10 matches, he scored 356 runs with an average of 44.50.
2- Ryan Klein is one of the talented bowlers who can swing the ball in the starting over as he did against the USA. He played only 7 ODI matches in which he took 5 wickets.
3- Bas de Leede needs to give a better performance with the bat as in both matches, he got out on 4 runs which is not his potential of him as a batter but in the last match, he picked up 2 wickets. He played 5 matches and took 8 wickets.
Team Preview of Nepal
Nepal needs to win the match in their next match against the Netherlands if they want to progress to the next stage of Super 6. Their bowling department has been doing quite well in the last 2 matches, but their fielding really disappointed everyone.
Nepal is one of the teams which play together and does not rely on a single person, which is quite a good thing about them, but they need to up their level with fielding else they are not going to win the match against anyone.
Important players for Nepal in the match against the Netherlands
1- Aasif Sheikh impressed everyone with his batting in the last 2 matches as he scored 106 runs in the last 3 matches, but his keeping has been a big question mark for the team because he dropped two clear chances in the last match against West Indies. He scored 871 runs in 45 matches with an average of 26.39, but the surprising factor is that he also can bowl and have 6 wickets.
2- Karan KC is a great bowling allrounder for the Nepal side, as even in the last match, he took 1 wicket and scored 28 runs. He took 4 wickets against the USA side, and in his 43 matches, he took 66 wickets.
3- Lalit Rajbanshi is one of the front-line spin bowlers who can bowl right from the first over as a spinner and trouble the opposition to be more settled on the pitch.
