Pragyan Ojha shared a picture of him doing Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) with his fans and emphasized the positive effects of yoga. In his Instagram post, he wrote:

Happy International Yoga Day! 🧘‍♀️🌍 Embracing this ancient practice promotes physical and mental well-being, fostering harmony and inner peace. Let’s unite in harnessing the power of yoga to cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and enhance overall health. #InternationalYogaDay #YogaForAll

International Yoga Day was the brainchild of India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who took this idea to the United Nations. It was June 21, 2015, when the world celebrated its first International Yoga Day and recognized the importance of yoga. Since then, every 21st June around the world, people celebrate Yoga Day and spread the message of a healthy life. Yoga every day not only improves the physical strength of the body but also heals it internally. Some of the poses are even included in the healing therapies as well.

Each international day comes with a theme, and this year’s International Yoga Day theme is “Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” where “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” means “World is one family,” so the meaning turns out to be “unite, like one family,” as the whole world is one big family that needs to have peace goals.
