Romelu Lukaku Set to Leave Chelsea, Inter Milan in Talks Over Potential Move.

Romelu Lukaku is reportedly set to leave Chelsea this summer, with Inter Milan in talks over a potential move for the forward.

Romelu Lukaku is set to leave Chelsea this summer, with Inter Milan currently in talks over a potential move for the forward. Sources have told Football Insider that the 30-year-old has his heart set on a return to Serie A following an unsuccessful return to Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku initially joined Chelsea back in 2021 from Inter after they reportedly paid £97.5million for the Belgian striker. However, he spent the 2022-23 season on loan back in Milan and now appears determined to make his stay permanent.

The Blues have so far made no comment about Lukaku’s potential exit but it is understood that they are currently in talks with Inter over a deal for the forward. Any potential move would seemingly be a major coup for Inter, who have made no secret of their desire to bring Lukaku back to the San Siro.

Despite his struggles since returning to Chelsea, Lukaku has been in fine form this season for both club and country. The striker has scored 10 goals in 21 appearances for the Blues, as well as six goals in nine games for Belgium.

It remains to be seen whether Lukaku will get his wish of returning to Inter this summer, but it seems increasingly likely that he will not be a Chelsea player next season.
