Brij Bhushan case once again picked up pace as the International referee gave a bold statement

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's case once again is a hot topic after an International Referee gave a statement against him.

Jagbir Singh, the International Wrestling referee, gave a statement about the sexual assault and molestation against the former Wrestling Federation of India Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

In the FIR filed by six adult wrestlers who are against Brij Bhushan, stating his sexual harassment and one more complaint added, saying that in a team photo after the Lucknow trials for the Asian Championships.

Jagbir Singh said in his statement that a female wrestler freed herself and also had an argument with Brij Bhusan during a team photo shoot in Lucknow after the trials for the Asian Championships.

“I saw him (Brij Bhushan) standing next to her. She freed herself, pushed away, mumbled and moved away. She was standing next to the president, but then came to the front. I saw how this woman wrestler was reacting and she was uncomfortable.

Something wrong happened to her, I didn’t see him doing the act but He used to keep touching wrestlers saying come here, come and stand here

From her (complainant’s) behaviour, it was clear something was wrong that day (during the photo session),”

Jagbir Singh said in his statement

One female wrestler explained the situation in which Brij Bhusan placed his hand on her buttock. When she was standing in the last row to take the picture after the trials, Brij Bhusan suddenly came close to her and placed his hand on her buttock, making her very uncomfortable. When she looked behind, he did not get away and stayed there, but then she moved away from that place to keep his hand away from her. Soon, he grabbed her shoulder with his hand, and then she had an argument.

The protest is still going on as the wrestlers want justice, but the government of India is not giving any statement, which is not the right thing to do even after the World Wrestling Federating warn the Indian government that if they are not going to sort out the situation, then the Indian Wrestling team will go in the Olympics without representing Indian flag.
