Quincy Promes is being charged with the alleged smuggling of 1370kg of cocaine
The FC Sparta Moscow winger Quincy Promes was caught, and Public Prosecution Service confirmed that the shipment of the two cocaine batches was intercepted in Antwerp in 2020 that weighed 1370kg.
The total amount which Promes might get after selling is estimated at around 75 million US dollars. He used to be the top young talent in all over Europe when he was playing for AFC Ajax and was heavily linked with major clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City.
He was also shown with a gun holding on the Instagram live sessions, which was one of the main talks in the Netherlands court. The 31-year-old footballer struggled with the top-level league, which is why he is being transferred to the Russian league. He also played for the Dutch team and used to be one of the main players. He is also being charged for a stabbing incident at a family gathering as he stabbed his cousin at a party. Prosecutors of Dutch want Promes to be jailed for the accusation put against him.
“The public prosecution service has demanded two years against a man who is suspected of stabbing his cousin in the knee,”
Prosecutors said in a statement
Promes is having an amazing 2022/2023 season with Spartak Moscow, as he scored 20 goals in just 24 starts and gave seven assists, the highest from his team.
“Why did you jump in front of him? You saved his life. I would have killed him – you understand that, right?”
Nobody is going to steal from us. I couldn’t help myself. Sorry, aunt, please forgive me. Everyone forgive me, I couldn’t resist. I love you too much.”
“My loyalty is to my aunt. Whoever steals from her, I will kill. Period. I’ll kill whoever steals from you, whoever steals from my mother. There are certain people in the family that I would kill for.
“I don’t care. If anyone is disrespectful or trying to talk about our family they’ll see how I am. Only then will you see who I am – not the footballer but the other side of me.
“It’s lucky that I don’t walk with a firearm anymore or that thing would have been even uglier.”
