A fan mistook Roger Federer for Rafael Nadal
The greatest Tennis player Roger Federer revealed a funny incident that happened to him when he went to watch Formula 1.
“Happened the other day at Formula 1. A guy asked “Can I have a picture with you Mr Nadal?”. I told him I wasn’t Mr Nadal. He apologized and left without taking a picture,”

The 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal does look like a bit of Roger Federer if you look from behind, and maybe that’s what happened with that fan when he mistook Roger Federer for Rafael Nadal.
In a daily show, Federer once told about another incident when a female did not allow Federer to enter Wimbledon because he did not have a membership card. Every player who wins the Wimbledon, even for one time, gets a lifetime All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club card through which they can enter any tennis club in England. Federer won Wimbledon 8 times.
“When you win Wimbledon, you become a member automatically. So, I’m like, “No, I don’t have my membership card but I am a member and I’m just wondering where I can get in,” and she said, “Yeah, but you have to be a member.” I was like, “I’m just asking you again where can I get in”, and she said, “The other side, but you have to be a member.”
“So, I look at her one last time and I’m so sorry, I couldn’t believe and still can’t believe I said this…and because I still feel bad about it. I’d look at her and say, “I have won this tournament eight times. Please believe me, I am a member!”

It is funny how anyone who is a fan of sports or related to sports is not able to recognize the world’s greatest Tennis star, but it was a funny moment for Roger, who does not really mind having these incidents because he feels that it shows you that no matter how great you can be many people will not going to know you right away.
