Tyson Fury challenged UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones for a boxing match
Boxing great Tyson Fury, the “Gypsy King,” called out current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones for a boxing match after the two crossed paths on social media. The feud between the two started when Joe Rogan, on his famous podcast show “The Joe Rogan Experience,” proposed a fight between these two and picked Jon Jones to be the one walking out of the room. Joe Rogan was discussing this fight with comedian Andrew Schultz.
“You want to talk about who’s the baddest man on the planet? If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury are locked into a room, I’m pushing all of my chips on black,” Rogan said with a laugh. “Tyson Fury is an amazing boxer — he doesn’t have a f***ing chance in hell of making it out of that room. He has no chance of making it out of that room. Zero chance. [Fury] would have to catch Jon immediately with one punch, and I just don’t see that happening, man.

Tyson Fury took the statements as a question on his capabilities to fight Jon Jones and was offended when Joe Rogan labeled Jon Jones as the baddest man on the planet, and in a reply, he referred to Joe Rogan as a “bald-headed midget”. He called out the current UFC heavyweight champion for a boxing match, as that’s the strength of Tyson Fury; he can’t stand a chance in front of Jon Jones in the octagon as Jones could knock him out easily there. Calling out Jon Jones, he said:
“If you want to come into a boxing ring and fight me, be my guest and let me know. You don’t have to call anybody else, no dramas, nobody. You call me because it’s a boxing fight and I’m the boss in this gym, me. You’re a great fighter Jon, but you’re no boxer that’s for sure. All the best and good luck.”
