Jake Paul welcomes Francis Ngannou, saying that “he is the best heavyweight in the world”. 

Now that the induction of Francis Ngannou into the PFL is official, Jake Paul, a Youtuber turned professional boxer, uploaded a video on his Twitter account to congratulate the former UFC heavyweight champion, saying that he is the best heavyweight in the f… world. Francis Ngannou, while fighting in the UFC, had one of the most influential careers as he only lost three times and knocked out several champions in his division, including Stipe Miocic. The former heavyweight champion has now joined the Professional Fighters League (another MMA league), and Jake Paul, who signed with PFL earlier this year, congratulated the heavyweight for his decision.

Jake Paul turned to pro-boxing after being a YouTuber and so far has had some good matches with only one loss in his six fights, but now he is going to try his hand at mixed martial arts. In January, he declared that he has signed to PFL for his MMA and also revealed that he is interested in fighting Nate Diaz first in a boxing match and then in his debut MMA fight. As of now, the boxing match between the former UFC fighter and Jake Paul is scheduled for August. The fight is going to happen in Dallas.

As per speculation, Francis Ngannou would be fighting his first MMA fight in PFL in December 2023, and Jake Paul would be having his MMA debut close to December. The pro-boxer is looking so confident, and so far he has managed to win against some known MMA fighters like Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva, but lost his last game against Tommy Fury by a split decision; this was his first loss in pro-boxing. Jake Paul said that “there is no limit to the positive impact I can make on the sport. I plan to enter the PFL SmartCage and once again show the world that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.”
