MS Dhoni signs autograph on Sunil Gavaskar’s Shirt at Chepauk

MS Dhoni, while paying a tribute to the fans of Chennai Super Kings by doing a lap of honor in their last home game of this IPL 2023 at MA Chidambaram Stadium signed an autograph on the legendary Indian cricketer’s shirt after a humble request by the veteran. The veteran came running towards Mahi and asked for the same. The players of the Chennai Super Kings were giving their signed jerseys and tennis balls to the fans, while legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar made his way to get one for himself on his shirt.

MS Dhoni and Co., while playing their last home game at Chennai, lost to KKR by 6 wickets. The fans of CSK were in dismay as this was the last home game of their team, and they wanted to see them win the match, but to their dismay, that didn’t happen as KKR managed to seal the victory and Mahi and Co. failed to seal their playoff seat as of now. Fans at MA Chidambaram Stadium later filled with joy when Thala Dhoni and Co. did a lap of honor for their fans at Chepauk and everyone, including the KKR’s players like Rinku SIngh, were lining up for MS Dhoni’s autograph.

Batting first, the Chennai Super Kings set a target of 145 runs for the KKR, and they also managed to get early wickets. The KKR was 33-3, but the game turned in the direction of the KKR as Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana showed resistance and dragged their team to a six-wicket victory over the home team. CSK’s fans got lighter even after their team’s loss as crowd favorite MS Dhoni recognized the love of his fans and did a lap of honor for them to show how much love he and his team have for the honest fans of Chennai Super Kings.
