Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their last match against the Lucknow Super Giants by 7 wickets, or you can say it was Aiden Markram who gave away the match by giving one over to Abhishek Sharma, who conceded 5 sixes that turned around the whole match.
The match was in the hands of the Sunrisers Hyderabad till the 2nd timeout when Lucknow Super Giants needed 13+ required run rate, but after Marcus Stoinis and Prerak Mankad speeded up the innings, and then Aiden Markram took the worst decision by choosing Abhishek Sharma over Mayank Markande to bowl the 15th over of the match in which he conceded 31 runs off the over. That made the task for Prerak and Nicholas Pooran easy, and they won the match before 4 balls.
Aiden Markram himself said in the post-match presentation that he was not the right man for the captaincy job, which is true because he made many wrong decisions in the whole IPL season 2023, but also the team management must also take full credit for it because they did not give many talented player chances which cost them early exit from the IPL season 2023.

If 1-2 players contributed in the match from the Gujarat Titans side, then it would be a closer match for them, but no one except Rashid did anything for the team that cost them a huge loss. He also made a record of being the highest scorer batter at the 8th or lower down position.
David Miller and Vijay Shankar scored a bit, but it was not enough for the Gujarat Titans, and now Gujarat batters need to step up because soon they will play the playoffs match, and any mistake will eliminate the team from the Title hope of back to back IPL trophy win.

Wriddhiman Saha needs to be more consistent with scoring runs because this season, he only scored 275 runs in 12 innings. It will be an important match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Gujarat needs to give their all.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are out of the IPL season 2023, and the next 3 matches for them will be something they can use to test players who are not given a chance in the IPL. Sunrisers should also try to give the captaincy to Rahul Tripathi for the next 3 matches or to someone else like Bhuvneshwar Kumar because Aiden Markram is not confident in his captaincy job, which he already said in the post-match presentation.
The team doesn’t have any confidence in their captain, and Aiden Markram also seems not to be backing his players or motivating them during the whole season of the IPL. The team management needs to be changed because they are not worth being in the IPL as the first and most bizarre thing they did was not buy an all-rounder in the auction, and it is no brainer that All-Rounders are one of the most important players who help the team to win the match because then Captain has an extra option in both departments.
The second worst decision which Sunrisers took was bidding for Harry Brook, and that too for 13 Crore, which went a total waste because Brook is not the sort of player who is meant to be in the T20 squad. He is very skilled in test cricket, and giving him so many chances instead of giving Glenn Philip was another wrong decision by the team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad did not give Adil Rashid game time in the IPL season after he bowled quite decently in the few match of IPL and had a great World Cup tournament. Akeal Hosein should have been more used in playing XI, and the team unity was totally off the chart in the IPL season 2023.
It is a time now that Sunrisers give more chances to players who have not played in the IPL season 2023 yet, so in the future, they will have more options to be a better team.
