Why did Virat Kohli delete his story of praising Yashasvi Jaiswal?
After Yashasvi Jaiswal’s ruthless fifty over the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, he has now engraved his name in the IPL books, as now he is the fastest batter to hit an IPL half-century. He broke the jointly held record of KL Rahul and Pat Cummins for the fastest fifty and made his fifty in just 13 balls, the fastest in the history of the IPL. Cricketers, fans, and coaches showered their praise on the young left-handed batter, and King Kohli is one of them. Virat Kohli shared an Instagram story on his social media page, praising Yashasvi for his innings. But later he deleted that story and reposted it, so what actually happened with Kohli and why did he do that?
Why did Virat Kohli delete the Instagram Story?
Virat Kohli deleted the Instagram story after realizing that the logo of Jio Cinema can be seen clearly in the story he shared on his Instagram account, as Virat Kohli is the brand ambassador of Star Sports for IPL 2023, and the picture he shared had Jio Cinema written on it, so actually he was also watching the match on Jio Cinema, which is a competitor of the Star Sports network because Jio Cinema is streaming all the IPL matches for free on their platform. So, to avoid any kind of trouble with the Star Sports Kohli deleted the story.
King Kohli heaped praise on the southpaw and said, “Wow, this is some of the best batting I have seen in a while. What a talent, Yashasvi Jaiswal.” but later deleted that and reposted the same story after a few minutes after cropping the Jio Cinema part from the photo.
Rajasthan Royals, due to Yashasvi’s innings, beat KKR by nine wickets and secured two more points to move up on the points table.
