Wankhede stadium pitches are mostly batting-friendly, but the trends have changed recently, and everyone gets something from the pitch, like in the last match. Both teams scored decent runs, and spinners and pacers also got wickets, so it was a wicket with a neutral surface.

It was unfortunate that Tilak Verma suffered from an injury before the last match, which made him ruled out of the match, but it was not a serious one so it is possible that he is going to play in the next match because Tilak has been a great contributor to the team since last year.
Nehal Wadhera was the only batsman who crossed the 30-run mark and played an amazing inning of 64 runs in 51 balls. He scored his first half-century of the IPL, and this season, he has already scored a few good knocks.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are still in contention to qualify for the playoff after their last match defeated against the Delhi Capital side. It was a dominating performance in their last match against the Mumbai Indians, as they won the match by 8 wickets. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis’s amazing batting led their team to win the match easily, and since then, only these two batters have been performing consistently for the team.
Royal Challengers have an issue with their batting and especially the bowling side. In the last match, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowlers were outplayed by the Delhi Capitals bowlers, and now they need to perform better in their next match, which will be at Wankhede Stadium that is more of batting friendly pitch rather than bowling-friendly.
One of the things which Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Management should look out for is Mohammed Siraj’s behavior, which is not acceptable even if you are performing best in the team. He is not even a great player right now, and there is a lot to prove in the future but the attitude he has and show to other is just not right. I felt it was pretty close, I thought 185 was a pretty good score. The dew took the spinners out of the game, but credit to them (DC batters) as well. You like your spinners in the game, but you need to bowl in the right areas despite of the dew.

The one big positive for them in the last match was Mahipal Lomror’s performance. He scored 54 runs in 29 balls, and RCB will be hoping to see the same performance in the future also because the middle order of RCB is not performing at all in the IPL season 2023.
